Store Sheep Reports

Leek Auctions is delighted to report a highly successful sale on behalf of the Derbyshire Texel Club. The Derbyshire Diamonds sale attracted great interest with buyers attending from Southern Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales and plenty of others from much closer to home.

A total entry of 4,033 store and breeding sheep were on offer, being a very pleasing entry considering the wintery weather, with buyers attending from a wide area including west Wales.

A total entry of 5,370 store and breeding sheep were on offer and despite the inclement weather, buyers were in attendance from a wide area including West Wales, Shropshire and the surrounding Counties.

A total entry of 7,859 store and breeding sheep were presented for sale, with a number of new vendors and purchasers in attendance.

A total entry of 7,982 store and breeding sheep were presented for sale, with store lambs being a firmer trade than two weeks ago, although there was a higher proportion of small sorts on offer, as anticipated due to the time of year.
