Dairy Reports

A flying trade in the Dairy Ring saw the last sale of 2019 go out with a bang.

There was a lovely festive atmosphere in the dairy shed on Tuesday with a smashing crowd gathering for both carol singing and the sale.

A smashing entry of 52 milkers met another solid trade peaking at £1880 for a 30kg heifer from Messrs Easom of Oakerthorpe. She went to Messrs Docksey of Meerbrook.

Just when you think dairies can’t get any dearer, they prove you wrong.

Another lovely trade at Leek on Tuesday saw the best to £2100 with all qualities selling exceptionally well.
